About this series
John was the last of the four gospels – books which describe Jesus’ life – to be written, and is full of symbolism and images, hidden meanings and deep theological ideas. John’s aim, as he tells us about who Jesus is, is to show us not just the outward, obvious things that Jesus did, but also the inner symbolism and importance of his life.
