Worship Gathering

Sunday is when the Church gets together to worship, to learn together and to enjoy each other’s company.

Time: Sundays, 5.30pm – 7.00pm
Venue: St Paul’s City Centre Church, Commercial Street, NP20 1LU [map]

What to expect

Here’s what you can expect when you come and join us on a Sunday night:

Friendly atmosphere

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed and invited to grab a seat on a sofa or an armchair in our lounge-style meeting area. Church is about relationships, so when we meet we want to create a comfortable space for friendships to develop.

Acoustic worship

We spend time singing songs together in a cut-down, acoustic style. Music is a really important way that we, as a community, express who God is and what he means to us.

Explore God’s story

Someone will talk for around thirty minutes, either examining a passage from the bible or exploring what God has to say about an important topic. We aim to make this teaching as interactive, engaging and connective as possible using story, images and personal experiences.

Pray and be prayed for

There’s a chance, if you are comfortable, to pray for others or be prayed for yourself. Through prayer, we invite God to intervene in our lives and shape us into the people he made us to be.

Directions

From the Town Centre:

Walk through the town centre along Commercial Street, towards the police station. St Paul’s Church is at the end of Commercial Street next to the Tom Toya Lewis (Wetherspoons). Head up into the car park along the side of the church and in through the side door ahead of you.

From Caerleon Campus:

The easiest way to St Paul’s from campus is to get the 4.50pm free bus from just outside campus, arriving at the bus station at 5.15pm. Then it’s a quick 5-10 minute walk across the town centre.

By Car:

St Paul’s is at the far side of Commercial Street, near the Police Station. Park up in the car park, and head in through the door at the side of the church.
