Last Sunday, Dan led us in a great time of worship using some new songs from Will Reagan & the United Pursuit Band.

Here’s the song ‘Climb’, a brilliantly simple song about trusting and leaning on God. It’s from the album, Live at the Banks House, which is full of simple spirit-filled songs. We’d really recommend it to you if you’re looking for some music that will draw you into God’s presence.

Their story of meeting for worship together in ‘The Banks House’ brings back brilliant memories of the ‘rebirth’ of our Sunday nights as we have them now, when for several months a small group of us met in the lounge at the Lab house, all bringing along whatever musical instruments we fancied playing and singing the songs that were speaking to us.

Here are the lyrics:

I lean not on my own understanding
My life is in the hands of the Maker of heaven

I give it all to You God trusting that you’ll make something beautiful out of me

There’s nothing I hold on to
There’s nothing I hold on to
There’s nothing I hold on to
There’s nothing I hold on to

I will climb this mountain with my hands wide open
I will climb this mountain with my hands wide open
