Eli Music has come on in leaps and bounds since the beginning of September, and the beginning of our mission!
Here's some of what we've been up to in the last few months:
We started the year with two after school Music Clubs in Alway Primary School and Duffryn Junior School. In both clubs the number of children attending has risen, and we are having so much fun creating a curriculum for them that includes learning about beats and rhythms, playing different ...
This week we launched a new website for the new academic year, as well as a new Lab identity and values.
The story so far…
Our journey so far as a community has taken us a long way from our humble beginnings seven years ago. What began as a small group of young adults meeting together has grown into several different communities all with their own sense of call and mission.

The Eli Music Project is a new Lab initiative, which will be created to serve Newport and the surrounding areas by providing opportunities for children and young people to develop through music.

Place: St. Paul’s Church, Newport

Our new Annual Report is now available.
We've just published our 2013 Annual Report. Each year we put together a report which has the full details of everything we've been doing in all our different areas of work. This year's report has details of everything that's been happening with our young adult community, in Alway, in Duffryn, and with our vision for encouraging and equipping pioneer ministry.

This Lent we've set ourselves a challenge to focus on praying for The Lab as a community.
Lent, the time between Pancake Day (well technically Ash Wednesday) and Easter, is an amazing season in the Church's calendar. It's a time of fasting and praying, when we remind ourselves of how central God is to us and ask him to provide for our needs.
