People from churches all over Wales gathered on the 21st and 22nd November for a landmark conference to share ideas on the future of the church, as part of the Church in Wales 2020 Vision. Lots of fun for families at Alway Messy Church

Eli Music Spring Update

So far, 2014 has been great for Eli Music! Music Clubs We continue to provide lunch time and after school Music Clubs in Alway Primary, Duffryn Juniors, Maesglas Primary and St Patrick's Primary School. The Music clubs have been exploring different types of music each week since January, these include Welsh Music, Music from the Movies, Pop Music, Choral Music and many others! The start of this year has been really exciting in Alway not only because of Pip and Troy joining us as new team members, but also because of the new things we have been doing as well as developing the already existing projects. The Cwtch is our new young adult community which has been meeting since September on Sunday nights in the centre of Newport. Autumn updates from Duffryn

Things in Duffryn have been continuing to progress over the summer months. Here's an update of how everything is going: Music Club With help from Abbie and Sarah, the Music Club in Duffryn Junior School, has been going really well with around 25 children coming each week. We also had the chance to do some RE lessons in Duffryn High School using the GSUS Live trailer in partnership with King’s Church.
