For Chelsea fans this season ended on a high note.

While they didn’t meet all of their goals they still did well and won the Europa League title. Perhaps that’s why fans were so excited when a player’s son dribbled the ball and scored a goal during the closing celebration for the last game of the season?

Hope for the future. That’s something we can all get excited about.

Jeremiah 29:11 says

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Whether this is a time of celebration or disappointment, we can all rest knowing that no matter what – The Lord has plans for us which offer us hope and a future.

3 Questions:

  1. Would you rather score a goal or play goalie?
  2. Have you ever doubted hope for your future?
  3. When you think about your future, what do you dream of?

Chew on this:

If God has plans to prosper and not harm Christians, then why do bad things happen to Christians?
