Del’s next job

Most of you know that Del is due to move on to another position in the Methodist Church next September. Today she announced that she definitely will be moving on, and where her next post will be. This is from her email:
“I am delighted to announce that I have accepted the offer of Barry Circuit to join them in September 2008. I visited the circuit last saturday and I had a full day meeting the circuit people and sharing with them about the issues and projects going on in the circuit and then specifically meeting two churches for whom I would have pastoral charge. There was no doubt that there are some very exciting things going on in the circuit and that the churches were very open to my style of ministry. It was a very intense day and I was emotionally and spiritually exhausted after it - a bit shell-shocked even!! On sunday night the Barry Circuit offered me an invitation to join the team in September 2008. I took another 24 hours to consider my response, feeling that I wanted to be sure that it was also what God wanted (and after a busy sunday I hadn’t really had time to think about it!!), and accepted the offer on Tuesday morning.
